Un patch de Caulerpa taxifolia est apparu récemment au bout de la jetée en rochers qui se trouve entre la pointe du Palm Beach et le port du Moure Rouge. C'est malheureusement une zone où l'herbier de posidonie abrite de nombreux specimens de pinna nobilis, espèce protégée.
