The species was mainly sighted on the shady side of rocky boulders.
They were always on hectic feeding on the thin microalgae film which covers the shady side of the rocks. Sometimes, they were also observed on the side of rocks exposed to the sunlight.
Some animals were quite big, with a carapace length around 5cm.
